The production site of the POLYPLASTIC Group and the Rivulis company in the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region — POLYPLASTIC Rivulis Irrigation Systems Pipelines (OOO PRIST) — is increasing the production of polymer pipe products for drip irrigation. According to the results of 2024, production volumes are estimated at 231.5 million meters of drip tape, which is 58% higher than the figures for 2023, and 3.4 million meters of drip tube, which is 65% more than the previous year.
The production of polymer tape for drip irrigation systems was mastered in 2019. The plant produces Eolos Compact, Eolos Classic drip tape with a wall thickness from 6 (0.15 mm) to 15 (0.37 mm) mils of various diameters and flow volumes.
Drip tape is actively used in vegetable fields, in plastic tunnels, in greenhouses, in gardens and nurseries, on berry plantations, as well as in underground drip irrigation systems. In addition to the tape, since 2023, PRIST has been producing the compensated drip tube Rivulis D5000 PC. Drip tubes belong to perennial systems and can also be used for subsurface irrigation. They have a thicker wall. In production, an innovative flat compensated emitter is used - D5000, which provides uniform watering regardless of the slope of the site, the length of the irrigation row and the pressure in the system.
