As Part Of The YUGAGRO 2024 Exhibition, The POLIPLASTIC Group Held A Round Table On Integrated Solutions For The Agro-Industrial Complex.

On November 21, a round table on the topic of “Integrated solutions for the agro-industrial complex: successful practices, economic effect, promising developments” was held at the POLIPLASTIC Group stand.

The speakers included representatives of the scientific community in the field of melioration, manufacturers of polymer raw materials and pipe products for the agro-industrial complex, suppliers of drip irrigation systems and sprinkler equipment. More than 20 managers, engineers, agronomists of agricultural holdings, representatives of peasant farms of the Krasnodar Territory and other regions of the Russian Federation took part in the event.

The discussion was moderated by Alexey Tishkin, Director of the Department of Industry Development “Agriculture and Ecology” of the POLIPLASTIC Group.

The participants of the round table discussed certain aspects of the implementation of state programs to support agriculture, the dynamics of the use of polymers in the agro-industrial complex, and the practice of using polymer pipes in the operation of irrigation machines.

The report on "Solutions to Water Resources Transportation Problems on a Scientific Basis" was presented by employees of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Russian Research Institute for Land Reclamation Problems". An expert in industry marketing of the "Agro-Industrial Complex" division of SIBUR spoke about the efficiency of using polymer pipe solutions in drip irrigation systems and in the construction of drainage canals. Representatives of the trading house "POLYPLASTIC Yug" shared interesting cases for the agro-industrial complex with the participants, and specialists from the new division within the trading house - the service for the development and sales of irrigation systems - revealed the specifics and advantages of micro-irrigation systems based on polymer drip tapes and tubes.

After a series of reports, a discussion took place on the topic of "Problems and challenges in agricultural activities - successful solutions and proven practices." Farmers asked questions regarding the application, properties, and operating features of polymer pipes in certain conditions. Leading industry experts answered questions, described the characteristics of different types of products, using the experience of implemented projects.

"Today we have had the opportunity to present many innovative solutions that have been developed by our company to help farmers and have already proven their effectiveness. One of the leaders in the polymer production and processing market, SIBUR, has joined our initiative. Colleagues shared their experience in introducing polymers. Another positive fact is that our partners from the Research Institute of Land Reclamation Problems considered it necessary to take part in the event and provide scientific justification for the feasibility of using polymer pipelines in the agricultural industry. Judging by the feedback received from the roundtable participants, the industry is interested, and it is high enough for further development in this direction. Such a direct dialogue with the consumer, a potential customer, is necessary to understand the problems and expectations of the industry," Alexey Tishkin summed up the roundtable.
